Apple's Vision Pro chief joins OpenAI
Paul Meade, the Apple VP who led Vision Pro and its planned AI glasses, is leaving for OpenAI's hardware team, Bloomberg's Mark Gurman reported June 26.
The report, originating with Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, follows a hardware reorganization under incoming Apple CEO John Ternus. OpenAI is building an AI device with Jony Ive, and Meade’s move adds senior headset and smart-glasses experience to that team.
