Glow launches at $1.2B for AI endpoints
A security startup founded by ex-Meta, Snowflake, and Claroty engineers raised $180M to rethink endpoint protection as AI agents change what runs on a laptop.
Glow emerged from stealth on July 22 with $180 million in funding at a $1.2 billion valuation, backed by Sequoia Capital, Cyberstarts, Greenoaks, and Redpoint Ventures. Founded in 2025, the company is led by CEO Roi Tiger (formerly a VP of engineering at Meta), CTO Omer Singer (formerly head of cybersecurity strategy at Snowflake), VP of R&D Ophir Arie (formerly VP of R&D at Claroty), and COO Emily Heath (formerly CISO at United Airlines and Docusign).
The company’s pitch is that endpoint security was built for a world where a person, not an autonomous agent, decided what ran on a given machine, and that attackers are already exploiting the gap: generative AI now automates phishing content and malware development at a pace traditional endpoint tools weren’t designed to catch. Glow says its product gives security teams direct control over everything executing on an endpoint rather than relying on signature or behavior heuristics tuned for human-driven activity. The funding is earmarked for expanding its US go-to-market team and Glow Labs, its research arm.
It’s the mirror image of the offense-side story from earlier this month: Hugging Face’s production breach carried out end to end by an autonomous agent and xAI’s Grok Build CLI exfiltrating repos and secrets both showed agentic tooling opening attack paths a human-driven pipeline never had. A $1.2 billion valuation on a stealth launch says investors expect that gap to be one of this cycle’s bigger enterprise security categories, not a niche concern; whether Glow’s specific approach holds up is a separate question from whether the underlying problem is real; it is.
