NVIDIA and KAIST open joint AI lab in Seoul
NVIDIA and South Korea's KAIST launched a joint agentic-AI research lab, NVIDIA's first with a Korean university, atop expanded SK hynix and SK Telecom deals.
NVIDIA and KAIST’s Kim Jaechul Graduate School of AI launched a joint research lab in Seoul focused on agentic AI, which NVIDIA describes as its first joint AI lab with a Korean university. The announcement, made with South Korean President Jae Myung Lee and NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang, builds on partnerships SK hynix and SK Telecom announced in June to codevelop AI memory and build out Korea’s AI and physical-AI infrastructure.
