Anthropic localizes Claude pricing for India
Claude Pro now costs about ₹2,000 ($21) a month in India when billed annually, and Max starts near ₹11,999 ($125), but UPI payment is not yet supported.
Claude Pro is now listed at roughly ₹2,000 (about $21) a month in India when billed annually, versus $17 a month in the US. Claude Max starts around ₹11,999 (about $125) a month, against $100 in the US. Unlike ChatGPT, which added rupee pricing with UPI support last year, Claude still only accepts card payments in India.
