Voice agent hits 30k users in two weeks

avatarin, an AI customer-service company spun out of ANA Holdings, built a multilingual shopping agent for Japanese electronics retailer Yamada Denki using OpenAI’s GPT-Realtime, combining voice, text, and image understanding in one model to guide shoppers from product questions to purchase decisions outside store hours. In its first two weeks live, 30,000 people used the agent and 92% of survey respondents rated the experience positively.
