Higgsfield raises $400M at $5.4B valuation

AI video and image platform Higgsfield quadrupled its valuation in eight months to $5.4B, on annualized revenue that reportedly reached $700M this month.

Higgsfield raised a $400 million Series B led by DST Global, quadrupling its valuation to $5.4 billion from $1.3 billion in January. The AI video and image platform says its annualized revenue reached $700 million this month, up from roughly $20 million a year ago, and that it now serves more than 30 million users across 238 countries and 360 Fortune 500 customers. CEO Alex Mashrabov framed the pitch around production friction:

Every business needs visual content, but creating it at the quality, speed and scale companies demand remains complex and expensive.

Higgsfield mixes proprietary models, including Soul 2.0 for fashion and editorial imagery, with integrated third-party models like Google’s Veo 3.1, the same underlying model line Kling’s $2B funding round is competing against in the AI video market. Its Supercomputer product, an agentic workflow tool launched in May, reportedly drove a 42-fold increase in agent-tool usage within three months, and the company says monthly content generations now top 20 million.

What it means for you

Read the growth story here as agentic tooling, not generation quality: a 42x jump in agent-tool usage in three months, following a dedicated agentic product launch, is the number actually driving the revenue curve, and it’s a more specific, checkable claim than the top-line valuation. If you’re evaluating AI video and image vendors for production work, that’s the question worth asking any platform pitching you now, whether the workflow tooling around the model, not just the model’s raw output quality, is what will actually save your team time.
