Relay, an AI-powered workflow automation tool that competed with Zapier on tasks like document drafting and project management, is shutting down: free users lost access August 15 and paid access ends September 14. Founder and former Google product lead Jacob Bank is rejoining Google as VP of Product for Chrome, bringing other Relay staff with him, to work on what he called bringing AI into Chrome to “get things done.”
