OpenAI launches a partner network
OpenAI opened a global partner program with three tiers and a $150M investment, aiming for 300,000 certified consultants by the end of 2026.
On June 14, OpenAI launched the OpenAI Partner Network, a global program for firms that build, sell, and deliver AI projects on its tools, backed by a $150 million investment. Partners move through three tiers, Select, Advanced, and Elite, judged on sales, technical depth, and real deployments, and can earn specializations that signal depth in specific fields: Codex, security work, and agents. There is also a pilot called Forward Deployed Experts, which puts partner staff alongside OpenAI engineers on the harder enterprise builds. OpenAI says it wants 300,000 certified consultants in place by the end of 2026, starting with a select group of systems integrators, consultancies, and data firms.
