AI-native ERP startup Rillet raised a $100M Series C led by ICONIQ at a $1B valuation, its third raise in a year, with 600+ customers and fast ARR growth.
Rillet, an AI-native accounting and ERP startup, closed a $100 million Series C that values it at $1 billion. ICONIQ led the round, with returning backers Sequoia Capital, Andreessen Horowitz and Oak HC/FT joined by new investors including Bain Capital Ventures, Battery Ventures, FirstMark and Creandum. It is the company’s third raise in the past year and pushes total funding past $200 million. Rillet uses AI agents to automate manual accounting work and positions itself as a replacement for legacy ERP systems like NetSuite and Oracle Fusion. The company says it now has more than 600 customers and doubled its annual recurring revenue in the past three months.
What it means for you
The signal in this round is where investors are placing bets: not on a chatbot layered over existing accounting software, but on rebuilding the system of record so AI agents do the close, the reconciliations and the reporting natively. That is a harder, stickier product than a feature, and the pace of Rillet’s fundraising, three rounds in a year, says the market believes the incumbents are exposed. For operators, the practical read is that “AI accounting” is maturing from demo to deployed, with 600 companies already running it. It fits the week’s broader funding surge into applied AI, alongside Veeda AI’s $90M seed for world models and Etched’s $700M raise for inference silicon. If you are on legacy ERP, it is worth a look at what an AI-native alternative actually automates before your next renewal.
