SnapLogic launches SnapCode and MCP server

SnapLogic announced SnapCode and an official SnapLogic MCP Server on July 14, with the MCP server itself already generally available since July 7. The MCP server gives AI coding agents governed, programmatic access to SnapLogic’s integration platform: an agent can deploy, execute, validate, and manage integrations through more than 1,000 pre-built connectors covering systems like SAP, Oracle, Salesforce, Snowflake, and Workday. SnapCode is the developer layer on top of it. Describe an integration in plain English inside Claude Code, and it returns production-ready SnapLogic pipeline code that a team owns and version-controls like any other source file, rather than a one-off script an agent wrote and nobody reviewed.

The first release works inside Claude Code, both the terminal tool and its Visual Studio Code extension, with support for other coding agents to follow. SnapLogic CTO Jeremiah Stone framed the pitch as not making enterprises choose between agent speed and governance: every integration still runs on SnapLogic’s own platform, where an admin keeps the same security, monitoring, and operational oversight already in place, rather than a workflow the agent assembles and runs on its own.

What it means for operators

This is the enterprise-integration vendor’s version of a pattern already playing out across the MCP ecosystem: X built an official hosted MCP server for its own API, and FactSet did the same for portfolio analytics, each choosing to govern agent access itself rather than leave it to scraped workarounds or brittle third-party adapters. If your team already runs SnapLogic pipelines and works in Claude Code, this is a real shortcut from prompt to production integration. It is also new attack surface: scope the credentials the MCP server uses the way Mistral scoped its connector keys, rather than granting broad access by default.
