Even Realities, a Shenzhen-based smart-glasses maker founded by former Apple engineer Will Wang, closed a $150M pre-Series B with Meituan and Tencent as lead backers, pushing its valuation to $1B, TechCrunch reported July 6. The company’s glasses skip cameras entirely in favor of a display-first design; it reports over 90% weekly-active-user retention and profitability since its first product shipped.
