NVIDIA donates a DGX to a US military school
NVIDIA commissioned a DGX GB300 at Naval Postgraduate School, the first deployed in the US military, for weather, cybersecurity, and operations research.
NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang commissioned a donated DGX GB300 supercomputer at the Naval Postgraduate School on July 22, the first such system deployed anywhere in the US military. The machine pairs 36 Grace CPUs with 72 Blackwell Ultra GPUs and builds on a research agreement between NPS and NVIDIA dating to December 2024; the school says it will use the system for student and faculty research in weather modeling, oceanic and operations research, cybersecurity, and resilience and response planning.
