Claude Reflect shows your usage patterns

Claude Reflect beta launched July 9 for Free, Pro and Max users with Memory on; shows usage topics, peak times and chat counts over 1-12 months.

Anthropic launched Claude Reflect in beta on July 9 for all Free, Pro, and Max users who have Memory turned on. Access is through Settings in Claude’s web and desktop apps.

Reflect generates a personal usage summary. You choose to view the past 1, 3, 6, or 12 months. The report covers your key topics, peak activity times, and total chat count. It also breaks down your habits using Anthropic’s 4D AI Fluency Framework across four skill areas: Delegation (deciding when to give tasks to Claude), Description (writing effective prompts), Discernment (evaluating Claude’s output), and Diligence (taking ownership of what Claude produces).

Two optional tools sit alongside the summary. Quiet hours block notifications during the times you choose. Break nudges prompt you to step away after a set amount of use. Anthropic also includes open-ended prompts such as “What’s one thing you want to keep doing yourself, even if Claude could do it faster?”

Privacy note: Reflect draws no data from incognito chats, health-related conversations, or files connected through integrations.

What it means for operators

If your team uses Claude with Memory off, no report will appear. For the full picture of what Claude stores and surfaces about your users, the guide on what your AI platform sees covers the data model. Reflect is a visibility tool rather than a control one. For the recent change that gave more direct control over Claude’s actions, see Claude Code’s switch to Manual mode as default.
