Ecolab closed its all-cash acquisition of CoolIT Systems, the direct liquid cooling maker for AI data centers whose sales more than doubled this year.
Ecolab closed its roughly $4.75B all-cash acquisition of CoolIT Systems on July 2, earlier than expected after the March 19 announcement. CoolIT’s direct-to-chip liquid cooling sales have grown more than 100% year to date on AI data-center demand; Ecolab targets $4B in high-tech sales by 2030.
