EU AI Office publishes frontier AI findings
A 100+ expert forum tells the EU AI Office the next 1-2 years are decisive, flagging compute and energy as the top two-year priorities for frontier AI.
The EU AI Office’s Expert Forum on Frontier AI, over 100 experts convened since April, published findings on July 15 calling the next one to two years “decisive” for Europe’s position. Compute infrastructure and energy supply top the list, alongside barriers in growth-stage capital, training-data legal certainty, and talent retention.
