Robin Williams' children reactivated his Instagram account, 12 years after his death, to push back on AI-generated videos misusing his voice and likeness.
Zak, Zelda, and Cody Williams reactivated their late father’s Instagram account on August 17, marking what would have been his 75th year, saying they want it to be a trusted place for his real legacy “as technology evolves.” Zelda Williams has previously described AI-generated videos of her father circulating online as “horrible TikTok slop” and asked people to stop sending them to her.
